If you're at one of our staffed locations (Albury, Hobart, Marion, Sunshine), simply follow the steps below:

1. Receive a game card from an iTeller self-service machine, or from one of our friendly staff at the service counter, and load money onto the card.

2. Tap the card on the reader of the game you wish to play.

3. Enjoy the game and earn digital tickets and prizes! *

4. Redeem your tickets for cool prizes at the counter.

*Not all games award tickets or prizes - please speak to our staff if you're unsure on what a game gives you. Tickets cannot be exchanged back into cash.

If you're at one of our many game area locations, playing our games is easy:

1. On the reader, select how much you want to spend on the game.

2. Tap your credit or debit card.

Game tickets can be won from all of our ticket games and can be redeemed for prizes at the counter of our staffed locations, or at our Prize Hubs located at Village Cinemas Bendigo, Village Cinemas Fountain Gate, Event Cinemas Glendale, and Village Cinemas Sunshine.

Tickets cannot be exchanged back into cash or credit.

Yes - we accept Companion Cards in relation to the cards for people with significant and permanent disability who have a lifelong need for a high level of support to participate in community events and activities.

Companion Card holders can claim a complimentary Time Play pass at staffed Intencity arcades - see below for full Terms & Conditions:

1. Companion Card Offer – “Buy any Time Play & Receive a FREE 2nd Card”

1.1 The Companion Card Offer applies only when a valid Companion Card is presented to an Intencity staff member at the time of purchase.
1.2 The complimentary second card must match the Time Play package purchased (i.e. 30-minute with 30-minute, or 60-minute with 60-minute). No upgrades, substitutions, or variations are permitted.
1.3 The complimentary second card provides gameplay time only. It does not include any preloaded tickets, bonus tickets, prize games, skill tester entries, or other inclusions attached to the purchased Time Play package.
1.4 The Companion Card Offer is limited to one (1) complimentary Time Play card per valid Companion Card holder, per day.
1.5 The Companion Card Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion.
1.6 The Companion Card must be valid and presented prior to payment. Photocopies, expired cards, or digital reproductions will not be accepted.
1.7 Intencity reserves the right to verify the validity of any Companion Card presented and may refuse the offer if eligibility requirements are not satisfied.

No - you must use a credit or debit card to play games in our game area locations, with the only exception being Village Cinemas Sunshine.

Game areas at Village Cinemas Fountain Gate, Village Cinemas Bendigo, and Event Cinemas Glendale use their own game cards that cannot be used at a staffed Intencity location.

Currently, there are two different ways you can earn tickets at select game foyer locations:

• Village Cinemas Bendigo & Village Cinemas Fountain Gate: When you finish a game, the machine will print you a receipt displaying the number of tickets you earned, along with a QR code which you can then scan at a Prize Hub to redeem for prizes.

• Village Cinemas Knox (Roc's Social) and Village Cinemas Sunshine: When you finish a game, tickets will be awarded to your game card which you can then scan at a Prize Hub to redeem for prizes. At Village Cinemas Sunshine, tickets can also be redeemed for prizes at the counter during operating hours.

Tickets cannot be exchanged back into cash or credit.

At all other game foyer locations, tickets cannot be earned.

Intencity is unable to be responsible for supervising children under 16 and therefore must have a parent or guardian supervising them during the session.

Nope! They are provided free-of-charge once a token bundle or game credit is purchased.

Yes, once you have loaded money onto the card it is yours to keep.

Game cards work by loading an amount of money or token bundle at a self-service iTeller or the counter, and tapping the cards on the readers as you go. Each time you tap the game card on the card reader it will minus off the amount shown from the game card and credit you one game. Games can be scanned multiple times for multiple credits.

Loaded cards can be shared between one or more people and have no limits on them other than the amount of money loaded. They can be used on every game in the store including all prize games. Loaded cards have no minimum amount that can be loaded onto them and offer bonuses at different load amounts called Load and Save. The Load and Save bonus tiers are:

• Load $35 onto a game card and receive $10 bonus cash for a total of $45

• Load $50 onto a game card and receive $20 bonus cash for a total of $70

• Load $100 onto a game card and receive $50 bonus cash for a total of $150

We can't combine the dollar values of two or more game cards. However, we can combine tickets between game cards.

The balance of the card expires 12 months from last use.

No, game cards cannot be refunded.

The cash and ticket balance of game card can be checked in-store at our balance check station on the counter. Alternatively, staff can do this for you at the counter.

With the game card system, we no longer use physical tickets as they are now electronic.

• Unlimited game play (in the given time frame for certain games)

• Tickets for the birthday person and guests

• Party Hard invitations to hand out to all guests

• Party bags (only included in the SUPREME party package)

No, we do not have a fridge or any facilities for food storage. If you bring food, you are welcome to set it up on the party table ten minutes before your party is due to begin.

Unfortunately, we are not licensed to offer catering option. (Mix & Match Snacks) options are available at select locations but you're welcome to bring your own party food.

Guests are permitted to bring any food or drink items you like (excluding alcohol) and set them up on the party table for the duration of your party. Additionally, most locations are near food outlets so you’re also welcome to purchase food from fast food retailers and eat it in the party area during your party.

Cake cutting utensils will be available to cut the cake. However, no knives will be available, and guests are not permitted to bring their own knives into our arcades.

Cutting utensils are thoroughly cleaned after each use but may contain traces of wheat and peanuts. Customers are permitted to bring their own appropriate cake-cutting utensils but these must be approved by Intencity to ensure the safety of our patrons.
